SOF AT&L Contracting Officers and Program Managers will conduct roundtable discussions with attendees on the different communication mediums (e.g., SAM.gov, Industry Days, etc.) used to forecast or discuss new requirements with industry and the limitations on communications during the formal source selection process. This session will allow industry to obtain an understanding of how the Government communicates requirements to industry through the various stages of the acquisition process. The intent of these exchanges is to provide industry with insight on the process and limits of Government exchanges and to gain insight from industry on areas where SOF AT&L can improve in its communication with industry. The session will also focus on Request for Proposals (RFP) Sections L and M, highlighting keys to submitting successful proposals. These discussions between Government and industry foster collaboration, exchange of best practices, and ensure industry partners are well-informed to navigate the proposal submission process efficiently.

This one-day seminar will be executed by The Honor Foundation. Ideal for military personnel that are 24 to 18 months out from retirement or separation from active duty service. The seminar will provide attendees with:

    • A clear understanding of what motivates you and Why. Why is it not about making money--that’s a result. Why is a purpose, cause, or belief. It’s the very reason you exist. Once you can clearly articulate your Why, things become more clear throughout transition.

    • A simple way to pitch yourself, your experience, and your overall value proposition.

    • The secret to discovering the right transition coach and mentor, which can be the difference between finding your dream job and living a nightmare.

    • Ways to connect with others efficiently, effectively, and meaningfully during your transition.

*This seminar requires a separate pre-registration and is not open to walk-ins.  Please check back for additional details once registration is open.
