Communications with Industry

08 May 2023
Marriott Water Street - Floor 2 - Florida Ballroom Salon IV & V
Industry Track

SOF AT&L Contracting Officers and Program Managers will conduct roundtable exchanges with attendees on the different communication medium (e.g., SAM. gov, Industry Days, etc.) used to forecast or discuss new requirements with industry, as well as discuss the limitations on communications during the formal source selection process. The intent of these exchanges is to provide industry with insight on the left and right limits of Government communication during the acquisition process and to gain insight from industry on areas where SOF AT&L can improve in its communication with industry. Specific emphasis will be given to the communications during the Market Research and Pre-Solicitation Phase, i.e. responding to Government Requests for Information (RFIs), sources sought, etc.

This session is closed to the media and requires advanced registration (2 per company max).

Testimonials

  • We are extremely excited USSOCOM selected GSOF to co-sponsor its newly envisioned “SOF Week” in 2023. SOF Week will be a national convention for U.S. SOF and include a more diverse slate of programs, to include professional development sessions, operator-driven discussions, and family-focused conversations. In 2020, GSOF was designated as a National Military Association by the U.S. Department of Defense, and we look forward to working with USSOCOM to make “SOF Week” an impactful event.
