Headquarters United States Special Operations Command Awards Ceremony & Dinner

10 May 2023
JW Marriott - Floor 2 - H.B. Plant Ballroom

The USSOCOM Awards Ceremony and Dinner is a longstanding highlight of USSOCOM's annual conference that will be continued into SOF Week. It features several awards, including The Bull Simons Award, which was first awarded in 1990. The award recognizes recipients who embody “the true spirit, values, and skills of a Special Operations warrior.” Col. Arthur “Bull” Simons, whom the award is named after, was the epitome of these attributes. Tickets to the Awards Ceremony and Dinner sell out quickly and are a coveted commodity during SOF Week!

  • We are extremely excited USSOCOM selected GSOF to co-sponsor its newly envisioned “SOF Week” in 2023. SOF Week will be a national convention for U.S. SOF and include a more diverse slate of programs, to include professional development sessions, operator-driven discussions, and family-focused conversations. In 2020, GSOF was designated as a National Military Association by the U.S. Department of Defense, and we look forward to working with USSOCOM to make “SOF Week” an impactful event.
