This session will be a briefing from Japanese National Institute for Defense Studies (NIDS) researcher and former SOF commander regarding to Japanese Strategic relation in East Asia, The Challenges in formulating strategic documents, and the Origins of Japan's SOF. Since there is no strategic framework like NATO, participants are offered to consider and think together how we can build a Free and Open Indo-Pacific security environment.
