Dr. Jerry Collins

Dr. Collins served on active military duty from 1971 to 1994 as an intelligence analyst, instructor, curriculum developer and academic administrator. Upon his military retirement in 1994, he began working at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, FL as an academic advisor and continuing over a 16 year span advancing to Director of Undergraduate Studies, and Academic Department Chair for the Leadership Studies discipline. He then assumed the position of Associate Vice President at Florida State College (Jacksonville, FL) from 2012 to 2016. Prior to assuming his current position in Belgium, he served as the Chief of Evaluation and Analysis (2016-2019) at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Homeland Security in Brunswick, GA. Jerry possesses a B.S. in Liberal Studies, an M.A. in International Relations, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction/Higher Education Administration. He currently enjoys living in Belgium with his wife Theresa and one grandchild.
