TPA is located about 10 miles from the SOF Week Campus.

Please Note: The ONLY official room booking agency associated with SOF Week is Connections Housing. Avoid and ignore any other booking offers or solicitations targeting SOF Week attendees.

Transportation

For transportation to/ from the airport and around town, we recommend using rideshares like Uber or Lyft.

Shuttles will be available from select hotels and MacDill Air Force Base- more information will be available soon.

Heading to/ from Ybor? Tampa's FREE Historical TECO Streetcar is a great option.

Renting a Car?
The airport has all major rental options. We do not recommend renting a car unless your hotel offers parking.

Testimonials

  • We are extremely excited USSOCOM selected GSOF to co-sponsor its newly envisioned “SOF Week” in 2023. SOF Week will be a national convention for U.S. SOF and include a more diverse slate of programs, to include professional development sessions, operator-driven discussions, and family-focused conversations. In 2020, GSOF was designated as a National Military Association by the U.S. Department of Defense, and we look forward to working with USSOCOM to make “SOF Week” an impactful event.
