This year, we are working with ID.me to ensure a smooth registration and verification process for all attendees. ID.me simplifies how individuals prove and share their identity online.
When registering for SOF Week 2024, please keep your ID documents on hand and follow the steps below:
- Visit (the registration page) to register for SOF Week 2024 and upload your photo and identification document during the registration process.
- After you complete the registration process, you will need to click on the ID.me button and follow the steps there.
- If you already use ID.me, simply log in to the platform and authorize GSOF to receive your information for SOF Week 2024. *All information will be deleted 30 days after the conclusion of the event.
- If you are new to ID.me, create an account on the platform by choosing a method to verify your identity.
- Attendees from the USA: Verify using your phone number, uploading photos of your driver’s license or state ID, passport, or your passport card.
- International attendees: Verify by uploading a picture of your passport.
- Once complete, you can simply close the page and await further directions from our registration team via email.
NOTE: Completing the registration form and ID.me process does not ensure your attendance at SOF Week 2024. You will receive a registration approval email once all steps have been completed.
*Using ID.me is not mandatory. However, please note that your verification process will take longer.
*USSOCOM Enterprise are exempt from (1) uploading their identification documents during the registration process and (2) utilizing ID.me.
Category: Active Duty Military / Armed Forces
ELIGIBILITY
Military/Armed Forces Badge Type: Only Active Duty U.S. or Partner Nation Armed Forces or an activated reservist qualify for this registration type. Any representative in this category who is currently assigned to the USSOCOM Enterprise (e.g., USSOCOM headquarters, components, TSOCs) should instead register under the USSOCOM Enterprise category.
Military Dependent: One spouse or dependent of an attendee qualifying for the Military/Armed Forces badge type is welcome to register and visit the exhibition halls complimentary. Due to insurance restrictions, dependents must be over 18 and show proof of ID.
Category: USSOCOM Enterprise Personnel
ELIGIBILITY
USSOCOM Enterprise Personnel: Only Active Duty U.S. military, government civilians, or on-site contractors currently assigned to the USSOCOM Enterprise (e.g., USSOCOM headquarters, components, TSOCs). You must use your socom.mil or other qualifying email address when registering for verification.
Category: U.S. and Partner Nation Government / Public Sector
ELIGIBILITY
U.S. and Partner Nation Government Civilian/Public Sector: Only U.S. and Partner Nation Government Civilians employed by U.S. or Partner Nation Government Agencies may qualify for this badge type. (If you are a U.S. Government Civilian associated with the USSOCOM Enterprise, please register as USSOCOM Enterprise Personnel.)
U.S. and Partner Nation Government Civilian/Public Sector Spouse / Dependent: One spouse or dependent of an attendee qualifying for the U.S. or Partner Nation Government Civilian badge type is welcome to visit the exhibition halls complimentary. Due to insurance restrictions, dependents must be over 18 and show proof of ID.

ELIGIBILITY
Industry: To be eligible for this ticket type, the event attendee must be an industry/commercial professional working within the Defense and Security sector. Please use your work email for your registration.
Category: Non-Profits
ELIGIBILITY
Non-Profit: Only attendees whose primary employer is a non-profit organization may use this registration type.
Category: Academia
ELIGIBITIY
Academia: Only attendees primarily employed by an educational institution may use this badge type. You must use your educational institution's email address for verification.
ELIGIBILITY
Student: Only full-time students may use this badge type. You will be required to provide your student ID and use your educational institution’s email address for verification.
Category: Media
ELIGIBILITY
Media: Only credentialed and pre-approved members of the media. You may be asked to provide proof of employment as a media member to gain access to event sessions and the exhibit hall. Media credentials such as press passes, business cards, letters of verification, and other identification must be provided when pre-registering, registering onsite, or when picking up a pre-registered media/press badge.
